Qualified candidates are needed for appointment to temporary posts in Children’s Home for Boys, Samastipur, Bihar run by Prayas Juvenile Aid Center in collaboration with Social Welfare Department, Patna, Bihar.


1.Paramedical Staff; Post-01; Salary-11916/- ; Age Limit-65Years,

Qualification and Work Experience- Graduate or Intermediate with training in Nursing or First Aid.


2.Cook; Post-01; Salary-9930/ ; Age limit-45years

Qualification and work experience- Functional literacy person and sensitivity towards children in difficult circumstances.


3. Special Educator-cum-Therapist; Post-01; Salary-23170/- Age Limit-45years

Qualification and work experience- Special Education or Special Education(d) At least 03 years’ experience of working with special children or intellectual disability children.


4. Nurse (Female); Post-01; Salary-13240/- ; Age Limit-45 years, Qualification and work experience- Training Intermediate from First Aid or Nursing or Diploma in Nursing with at least 01 year work experience in a hospital or health facility center.


5. Care Taker-cum-Vocational Instructor; Post-01; Salary-9930/- ; Age Limit-45Years

Qualification and Work Experience- Intermediate Pass or equivalent; Work experience of working as Compulsory Vocational Training.

  • About Organization:India has large young population, only 5% of the Indian labour force in the age group of 20-24 years has obtained vocational skills through formal means whereas the percentage in industrialized countries varies between 60% and 96%. About 63% of the school students drop out at different stages before reaching Class-X. Only about 2.5 million vocational training seats are available in the country whereas about 12.8 million persons enter the labour market every year. A majority of Indian workforce does not possess marketable skills which is an impediment in getting decent employment and improving their economic condition. As we are aware about the fact that India needs 500 million skilled youth by 2022. To achieve this goal Prayas and Ministry of Rural Development joined hands to implement Swaran Jayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) – Special Project in the five most backward districts also come under IAP districts of Bihar (Gaya, Nawada, Jehanabad) and Jharkhand ( Hazaribagh, Ramgarh).
