Job Description

Job purpose

Lady Bamford Charitable Trust (LBCT) is a CSR arm of JCB India Limited. LBCT has been working towards

creating a better quality of life for vulnerable communities since year 2001. This is done through

interventions in the field of Education, Employable skills and Engagement with community. The activities

are implemented in villages nearby JCB plants across four locations viz. Ballabgarh, Jaipur, Pune and

Vadodara.

LBCT’s professional staff works closely with various stakeholders such as NGOs, JCB, Panchayats,

Government authorities and villagers. The internal and External communication therefore is crucial for

smooth flow of information.

LBCT seeks a Fellow based in Delhi to support communication team for the duration of two years with

renewal of contract on annual basis. The Fellowship programme is designed to engage young graduates

with an objective to drive innovation and growth in the social development space, specifically CSR, by

building capacities, enhancing skills, and utilizing capability and knowledge of young professionals. This

specific Fellow will have a focus on Communications while following the larger mandate of the CSR

Fellowship.

Duties and responsibilities

The fellow will work with all three CSR entities to support in the fulfilment of following tasks;

Communications:

• Design and development of specific communication material as per the communication

requisitions received by the communication department.

• Create and edit small videos for digital platforms.

• Work on creatives for promotion of events, IEC material, invitations, and presentations,

infographics, website banners, and social media post

• Work on the brand building of the various CSR entities with MarComm Lead

• Work on PR and influencer outreach with MarComm Lead

• Draft Press Releases for Comms purposes

• Proactively work on a Newsletter programme for both LBCT and the Literature Foundation

• Research and develop new content formats across media

• Create written content for all comms material, including but not limited to the ones mentioned

above

• Social media content

Documentation

• Editing and proofreading weekly and monthly reports

• Updation of Storybook and photobook

• Maps

• Drafting reports, concept notes

• Reviewing contracts, file notes

• Maintenance of database of reports and knowledge generated across entities

Screening process

Candidate selection will be done on the basis of interview

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in the field of arts or mass communication

Other Skills

• Well organized

• Good time-management skills

• Should be a team player

• Possess strong professionalism

• Good interpersonal skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and PowerPoint

• Knowledge of photo/video editing

• An interest in reading and literature is preferred but not a must

Languages

• Good command over English and Hindi languages

• Knowledge of CSR will be plus.

Working conditions

Candidates need to work 5 days a week (Monday to Friday - 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM).
