Job Description

We are hiring for a Field Coordinator

Part time (10 days/ month)

Detailed Job Description

The Field Coordinator will be required to visit Jalpaiguri, West Bengal on a monthly basis to monitor an ongoing project. The position involves intense field work. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience in the development sector, with a preference for those with experience in the educational domain.

Skills Required:

1. Proficiency in Bengali language: Speaking, reading, and writing skills are essential for effective communication with the local community and stakeholders.

2. English language skills: The candidate should have a good command of the English language for report writing and communication with the organization's headquarters or other stakeholders.

3. Computer skills: Familiarity with basic computer applications is necessary for data entry, report generation, and communication via emails or other digital platforms.

4. Report writing: The ability to draft comprehensive and accurate reports based on project monitoring and evaluation findings is crucial for this role.


1. Training: Conduct training sessions for beneficiaries or local staff as required by the project. These training sessions may be focused on various aspects of the project's goals and objectives.

2. Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly visit project sites in West Bengal, Jalpaiguri, to monitor the progress and effectiveness of project implementation. Collect data, observe activities, and assess the impact of the project on the target population.

3. Report Writing: Prepare detailed reports based on field observations and data collected during monitoring visits. These reports will be used for internal purposes and may also be shared with external stakeholders.

4. Feedback Giving: Provide constructive feedback to project staff and beneficiaries based on monitoring findings. This feedback aims to improve project performance and outcomes.

Preferred Location: Pune-based candidates will be given preference for this role
