Job Advertisement for Praajak India


Required candidates as Consultant Community Workers for jobs based in Bhatar, Purba Bardhaman. Candidates from Purba Bardhaman, Bhatar and surrounding areas will be preferred.

No lodging support will be provided to selected candidates from outside these areas.



Job Description:


This is a field-based job where over 85% time needs to be spent on the field. The candidate should have and be able to drive two-wheelers.


Building a relationship with children and their parents in the project area, forming and interacting with children's groups while conducting sessions.

Interacting with local government officials and departments including ICDS and schools

Submitting data and reports of work in the required format on a weekly basis.

Attend any training that is required to carry out the job effectively.


Qualifications required:

Graduate with good academic background. A degree in social work or related disciplines will be preferred


Good communication and group facilitation skills


Working knowledge of Bangla, Hindi and English is necessary.


Basic computer knowledge in Word and Excel.


Salary: ?13,000/- including Travel allowance


Work hours: Minimum of 48 hours a week


Location: Bhatar, Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal
