Inviting applications for the following positions at Patang

Patang a leading youth organisation in the eastern region of the country (www.patangindia.org) has successfully designed and implemented many innovative programmes for adolescents and young people. We are looking for promising young leaders / professionals with a strong learning orientation for the following position. Preference will be given to female candidates.

1. Position: Accountant

Number of Vacancies: 01

Location: Sambalpur, Odisha

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle the day-to-day operations of finance and accounts.

• Update and maintain registers, files and other documents.

• Monitor and handle receivables and payables and ensure timely settlement.

• Prepare BRS, Utilization Certificates and Financial Reports.

• Follow strict timelines in the book closures and reporting.

• Assist in statutory, internal, programme and donor audit; and in Balance Sheet preparation.

• Travel to field offices and support Team Leaders/Management in planning, budgeting and monitoring programme expenses and utilization.

• Payroll processing and management

• Handle procurements and maintain stock

Educational Qualification, Skill & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2 years professional experience in accounts in non-profit sector

• Knowledge of Tally ERP9 and Microsoft office

• Preference will be given to experienced and female candidates having good communication skills.

Pay Range: Negotiable based on previous drawn salary
