Job Description: Consultant - Proposal Writing, Resource Mobilization, and Government/Corporate Liaison

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consultant to join our team, specializing in proposal writing, resource mobilization, and effective liaisoning with government and corporate stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding our organization's reach and impact by securing funding, building partnerships, and fostering positive relationships with key external entities.

Responsibilities:

• Proposal Writing:

Craft compelling project proposals, grant applications, and funding requests tailored to various donors, foundations, and institutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and data necessary for proposal development.

• Ensure proposals adhere to guidelines, are persuasive, and effectively communicate the organization's objectives and initiatives.

• Resource Mobilization:

• Identify and research potential funding opportunities from government agencies, corporate partners, and other relevant sources.

• Develop and implement strategies to diversify funding streams and meet financial targets.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current industry trends and best practices in resource mobilization.

• Liaison with Government and Corporate Entities:

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with government officials, corporate representatives, and other external stakeholders.

• Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and networking events to establish and strengthen partnerships.

• Facilitate communication between the organization and external entities, ensuring alignment of goals and objectives.

• Networking and Collaboration:

• Act as a bridge between the organization and potential funding partners, facilitating mutual understanding and collaboration.

• Engage in proactive outreach and networking efforts to expand the organization's network and influence within relevant sectors.

• Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of proposals, funding applications, and communication with stakeholders.

• Provide regular reports on progress, successes, and challenges related to resource mobilization and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Business, Public Administration, Sociology, Economics, Project Management, Social work, Public policy etc.).

• Proven track record in successful proposal writing, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Familiarity with government processes, corporate social responsibility initiatives, and the nonprofit sector.

• High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and integrity in all interactions.

• Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM software.

This is a part time hybrid work position based at Delhi The consultant will report to the Director.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
