JOB DESCRIPTION – VETRINIARY DOCTOR

1. JOB TITLE: VETERINARY DOCTOR

2. REPORTS TO: Regional Manager

3. SUBORDINATES:

1.Driver cum Support staff

2.Para Veterinarian

4. WORK PLACE & SCHEDULE: The place of work would be at respective Mobile Veterinary Unit. The work timing is 8 am to 4 pm, 6 days in the week, Sundays off/Weekly Offs as per the Mobile Veterinary Unit work plan. In case if required he/she should be available 24/7 * 365 days in a year.

5. TRAVEL: Veterinary Doctor needs to travel along with the MVU to the village level to serve animals & birds at Gauthans and Poultry farms. Minimum of 2 Gauthans to be visited in a day and extensive travel in MVU will be there as per the service requirements.

7. TA & DA: Not applicable for day-to-day duty. In case of any relieving / ADHOC duties the travel expenses will be reimbursed as per company Travel Policies. DA is not applicable for this position.

8.LEAVE POLICY: For less than 2 days leave can be availed with a appropriate notification to reporting officer, i.e Regional Manager.

Advance Notice In writing to Regional Manager - for leave more than 5 days for non-emergencies

30 days paid leave apart from weekly off.

09. EQUIPMENT PROVIDED: Android Tablet for data entry and prescription recording with sim card.

10. CRITICAL AREAS IN JOB: Veterinary Services, disease control, maintenance of animal health, supervision of vaccination, small ruminants development, fodder development, community development through livestock rearing, veterinary aid in flood / draught areas & Artificial insemination, Clinical services accountability, MVU custodianship and staff skill development.

11. GRIEVANCE RECORDING: Regional Manager @Regional Headquarters & 1962 command call center at State Headquarters.

12. DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE: As per instructions from HO

13. SUBSTITUTE POSITION IN CASE OF ABSENCE: ADHOC/Temporary/relieving staff will be arranged by The Regional Manager.

14. Remuneration - 50K Per Month (Negotiable)
