Program Development: Design, develop capacity-building program, training modules and relevant materials to enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of government frontline workers in delivering the program.
Delivery & Facilitation: Lead and facilitate capacity-building workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing websites or events.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training activities, assessments, and participant progress. Prepare reports and documentation to track and report on the impact of capacity-building efforts.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Suggest a robust monitoring and evaluation plan or suggest different techniques and methods to assess the effectiveness of the capacity-building initiative.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with government partners, program managers, and external stakeholders to align capacity-building efforts with program goals and objectives.
Educational Qualifications:
Capacity-building specialist position requires a Bachelor’s degree with adequate experience or Master’s degree in research, design, education, or any of the social-behavioral sciences (including psychology, sociology, anthropology, social work, public health, among other related disciplines). A master’s degree will be preferred. Bachelors degree with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience in conducting capacity building and in health behaviour change or strategic communication programs. Experience in working with government departments for other programs.
Strong knowledge of adolescent development, parenting techniques, and family dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt and tailor interventions to diverse participant needs.
Proficiency in data collection and assessment techniques.
