Job Description

Social Awareness Society for youths (SASY) working for the rights of Dalits, Adivasis, Women and Children in Tamil Nadu is looking for suitable candidates for the following post.


District Human Rights Defender For the Human Rights project on Economic Entitlements for Dalits and Adivasi, Women and Children in Tamil Nadu to Protect and Promote the Rights of the Dalits, Adivasis, Women and children against Discrimination and Violence. Well-experienced candidate with suitable graduation having adequate skill to undertake Fact Finding Missions on Dalit and Adivasis Violation and Caste Discrimination, Engagement with the Government authorities, computer skills and excellent communication skills in both English and Tamil is necessary. Any degree with a minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Rights and Community Development field.


As per the SASY staff recruitment policy, SC/ST women candidates, otherwise committed people are given priority in the selection of candidates.


Salary : Rs.22,000/-

Preference : SC/ST - both female and male can apply

Place of Work : Villupuram and Kallakurichi District (Field Work)
