Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English or Communications and experience in the Development Sector

Experience: 4-6 years in proposal writing

Position Overview: Proposal writer specialist

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team in Mumbai, with the flexibility to work from home. The Proposal Writer will play a crucial role in helping us secure funding and partnerships by preparing compelling, well-researched, and persuasive proposals.

Compensation: As per Industry standards

Eligibility Criteria

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Determine the project concepts/ proposals by studying RFPs , attending strategy meetings and accordingly develop project concepts/ proposal as per the requirement of the donor
• Meet proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, submission and track the status of the same
• Closely work with the CSR and fundraising and communication team
• Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases.
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal writing, preferably within the non-profit sector or fundraising environment.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives, convey complex ideas concisely, and evoke emotions.
