Job Designation - Government Scheme Entitlement Coordinator

BHOJPUR MAHILA KALA KENDRA.

The Government Scheme Entitlement Coordinator will work closely with the Project Head and team to plan, execute, and finalize weekly project activities to be conducted in adjoining communities. Prepare weekly and monthly reports. He/she will be responsible for overall implementation project activities related to Livelihoods.

Job Roles and Key Responsibilities:

A. Coordinate with the Project team for the better implementation of the project activities.

B. Facilitate SHGs meetings in project

C. Responsible for monthly project progress.

D. Facilitate the timely flow of communication, resources and inputs between the Government offices projects for smooth implementation of project activities.

E. Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure compliance with project related policies and procedures

F. Manage and maintain the reporting documents

G. Assist project team in various trainings, SHGs field trips, exchange visits and study tours etc.

H. Coordination with local lead banks and MFI for access to financial packages to the community members and community institutions.

I. He/ She will maintain a database for the usage and benefits of loan and other financial services to the community members.

J. He/ She will identify and will leverage different schemes that are beneficial for the community.

Education and/or Experience:

A minimum of bachelor’s level University Degree or equivalent and 3-4 years’ experience in rural/ community development/NGO is required. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.


Duty Station: Should be willing to stay either in block or district headquarters whichever will be closer to the project location and project office.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a) Have an interest in community development

b) Proficient in Hindi, English and regional language, both spoken and written

c) Excellent organizational skills including strong attention to detail

d) Ability to produce accurate documents.

e) Computer proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail and internet (Microsoft preferred)

f) Motivated to work responsibly

g) Excellent leadership qualities and communication skills

h) Ability and willingness to work with a flexible schedule

i) Ability and willingness to travel extensively in the field.

j) Demonstrate a high degree of honesty and integrity

k) Ability to foster and maintain a spirit of unity, teamwork and cooperation

l) Sensitivity in working with multiple cultures and beliefs, and to gender equity.


Salary – Rs. 14,000 Per month and 2000/- Travel allowance .

Location: Ara, Bhojpur, Bihar
