Job Description

Anando is looking for a Junior Social Worker for its projects with children. We are a non-profit organization, born out of a concern for the needs of children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Since our inception in August 2006, we have been focusing our work on issues related to recreation and education. We are located in Jadavpur, Kolkata.

Applicants must hold a Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) and must enjoy working directly with children and youth. Responsibilities will include conducting sessions on life skills,crafts, awareness, etc with children of various ages, report writing, assistance in programme coordination and fund raising. Fluency in Bengali, Hindi and English would be appreciated. Previous work experience with children would be an advantage.
