Job Description

About: Pahal Foundation It is a non – profit registered community-based organization working since 2006. It works on sexual and gender minorities including transgender, non-binary and intersex communities on issues related to HIV, sexual health, human rights, skill building, livelihood, mental health, and justice. The foundation is actively engaged in project implementation, advocacy, capacity building and research.

Location: Faridabad, Haryana

Duration: One year (Possibility of extension)

1. Position Overview:

• As the Project & Liaison Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Skill Development project for Transgender and Gender Diverse communities initiated by Pahal Foundation.

2. Communication Skills:

• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hindi to effectively convey project objectives, updates, and outcomes.

3. Stakeholder Liaison:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including government officials, industry experts, UN agencies, corporates, and donors, to ensure the successful implementation of the project.

4. Media Interaction:

• Engage with both traditional and modern media platforms to enhance the visibility of the project, share success stories, and advocate for the inclusion of transgender and gender-diverse communities in skill development initiatives.

5. Project Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the project, ensuring alignment with the established goals and timelines.

6. Report Writing and Presentation:

• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations detailing project progress, outcomes, and challenges. Effectively communicate findings to both internal and external stakeholders.

7. Skill Building Expertise:

• Leverage previous experience in the Skill Building sector to enhance the effectiveness and impact of the project.

8. Extension Planning:

• Proactively contribute to the evaluation of project outcomes and propose recommendations for the potential extension beyond the initial one-year duration.

9. Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal teams, project partners, and community representatives to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for skill development initiatives.

10. Adaptability and Flexibility:

• Demonstrate adaptability to dynamic project requirements and an ability to navigate challenges, contributing to the overall success of the Skill Development project.

21. Educational Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in social work, Management or related field is required.

22. Professional Experience:

• Minimum three years of experience is required in the similar field.
