STEM Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills for the role of STEM teacher. The STEM teacher will be responsible for developing learning activities and hands-on material, tending to individual student needs, and communicating regularly with parents. STEM teacher, candidates should have a strong quantitative background, demonstrate empathy, and have good written and verbal communication skills. Candidates with 2-3 years of STEM lab teacher experience and strong command of English and Hindi (verbal and written) are preferred.

STEM Teacher Job Responsibilities

•Teach students about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects

•Develop and implement lesson plans that engage and challenge students

•Assess student understanding and progress through formative and summative assessments

•Collaborate with colleagues to develop STEM curriculum and instructional materials

•Advocate for STEM education in the school and community

•Stay up-to-date on current research in STEM fields

STEM Teacher Job Skills & Qualifications Needed

•A STEM teacher should have a strong background in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics

•Empathy and great interpersonal skills

•Excellent written and verbal communication

•Proficiency with basic computer software such as Word and Excel

•Experience working with children and adolescents. Previous experience as a STEM teacher will be advantageous

•Good classroom management skills

•Good teamwork abilities

Remuneration and Other details

INR 25k to INR 30k per month.

Office Timing: 3 pm – 7:30 pm

After attending the Shadow Coaching program at Elev8 Sports Institute in Florida under world renowned skills trainer Ganon Baker and Cody Toppert, Pradyot decided to take his learnings to his home in India. As a national level player himself, he understood the challenges faced by the Indian basketball players to make it to the big stages.
