Job Description

Occupational Therapist /Physiotherapist /Program Officer / Community Mobiliser/ Information And Advocacy Officer

Project on Disability

The Anchal team has taken a massive stride in the area of building ‘Capacities’ and counselling of the challenged with the establishment of ‘Model Community Resource cum Rehabilitation Centres’ (Model CRRC) for disabled children.

This ensures that children/adults with disabilities have access to rehabilitation facilities and services at the community level. Simultaneously, the project ensures that challenged children access mainstream, primary inclusive education in the schools of Delhi.

The purpose of this programme is to also ensure improved therapeutic skills of the parents and care-givers of the child thus assuring rehabilitation services in the home. This is a major breakthrough in the area of extending services to the challenged since a majority of the target beneficiaries belong to the economically depressed segments where it will not be possible for the parents or care-givers to frequently come to the Model CRRC for support services.
