Job Description

Specific Responsibilities:

• To manage the relationship building with the local PRI members and other CBOs, and others as appropriate.

• To provide quality support throughout the project cycle period to ensure adherence to the PMAY standards/guidance/best practices.

• To initiate regular interactions with relevant beneficiaries and local CBOs

• Prepare the action plan and executing strategies at block level to implement the project.

• Monitor the progress as per program plan and plan as per M&E plan.

• Support PO in documentation of success stories, maintaining data base of the project and involve in process documentation of each activity.

• In close coordination with the Program Coordinator / Officer and other resource person manage and supervise shelter-related trainings for partners, local skilled artisans (mason), vendor and beneficiaries.

Qualifications, Experience and Key Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or Social Works.

• Good understanding and experience in housing schemes of the government

• At least 1-2 years of relevant working in reputed NGO/ Organizations

• Experience in shelter construction and implementation of similar low-cost shelter based projects is of an added advantage.

• Knowledge of local construction technologies and materials.

• Fluency in local language Odia and written ability in English

• Good computer skills in using MS Word, Excel, power point and the internet.

• Self-reliance and ability to work in a challenging and demanding environment.
