Key Responsibilities

• Over all responsible for smooth functioning of Veterinary Services in the operational area of PC

•Identify and position skilled and competent Mobile Artificial Insemination Technician (MAIT) in key villages in accordance with company’s policy so as to cater to cluster of villages by providing AI and Ration Balancing service (RBP) to the satisfaction of the customers strictly following standard operating procedure

•Arrange to conduct market survey/household dairy animal survey in their territory through AI technicians to assess the demand and market share of competitors and plan for penetration.

•To conduct infertility camp in the villages with higher incidence of infertility cases

•To make the farmers aware of the effectiveness of the quality breeding service provided by PC and encourage them to avail AI service through MAIT

•To ensure adherence to the SOP by MAITs to ensure high success rate in AI and high adoption rate in RBP.

• Promote the company’s services by organizing farmers meeting, film shows, infertility camps, calf rallies aimed at creating awareness on best practices of feeding, health and reproductive management of dairy animals

•Periodically asses the training needs of MAITs schedule and arrange for training in consultation with MAITs and evaluate its effectiveness.

•To provide in-house training and guide MAITs on technical aspects of AI and RBP.

•Collect, verify and submit report on performance parameters to Management such as AI, PD and calf born in prescribed format and check for the authenticity of the report by way of randomly cross examining the pregnancy results declared by MAITs.

•Forecast the requirements and place indent to concerned department to ensure timely supplies.
