TRRAIN gives you the freedom to do exactly this. We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic individual in late 20’s to early 30’s with a zeal for donor engagement, to join our team at TRRAIN.

Responsibilities:

A. FUNDRAISING

• Achieve assigned & agreed fundraising targets for the financial year
• Create a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio, with funding streams including corporates & foundations, trusts and other grant-makers, in line with TRRAIN’s vision & mission
• Carry out prospect research and develop a comprehensive fundraising database that captures all relevant information
• Manage all administrative aspects of fundraising function for your area of operations 
• Manage and update databases to record donor contact and preference information

B. COMMUNICATION & MARKETING

• Continually seek new and appropriate contacts and partnerships with relevant organizations
• Uphold and promote the ethos and philosophy of the charity
• Support events organized by TRRAIN

C. FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT AND REPORTING

• Report progress against fundraising targets on a regular basis
• Ensure reporting to funders is accurate, transparent and timely.
• Highlight deviations in compliance, audit and/or governance norms to the reporting manager

D. SUPPORT IN RESEARCH AND COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE FOR LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS

• Research the trend in fundraising initiatives and suggest innovative methods towards improvement of the function. 

Eligibility Criteria

• A proven track record in meeting fundraising targets
• Experience in writing proposals ? Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
• Good interpersonal skills and relationship management
• The ability to build strong and lasting relationships and work collaboratively across teams
• Up-to-date with the latest trends in fundraising
• Able to work under pressure, meeting key project and reporting deadlines

• About Organization:TRRAIN was the brainchild of Mr. B.S. Nagesh, and was born after in-depth research was conducted amongst retail employees and employers, both in modern and traditional retail. This study, conducted by an independent body, indicated that a vast majority of people working in the retail sector hardly ever felt a sense of pride or dignity from their work. TRRAIN has one vision: To support and empower the retail industry by training the next generation of retail employees to be an asset to any retail organization they might become a part of, based on their warmth, humility and enthusiasm for work. As an NGO, TRRAIN strives to initiate holistic programmes that will impart a sense of pride in retail employees, reward and support retail employees, and inspire them to put their heart and soul into the work they do. Further, TRRAIN works for the empowerment for the differently abled and low-income women, in the retail sector by providing them with means to support sustainable livelihoods.
