Mito Trust was registered as a trust in December 2011. Mito was formed to support this socially and psychologically victimized community. MITO Trust continued determined effort on reaching out the sexual minority community who largely remains invisible and is torn between their biological sex and gender identity and lives as outcaste. The rigid attitude and negative behaviour of the society towards these sexual minorities, the general apathy and discrimination of the general public towards them reduce them to a life of penury, scratching out an existence by begging, prostitution or even crime on occasion.
MITO Trust a community based organisation from Mayurbhanj District, Odisha needs the following staff members for its project on Covid19 response mechanism (C19RM).
1. Project Coordinator- 1 post
Qualification and Skills:
•MSW preferably with 2-3 year experience at district level programmes related to health, livelihood programmes, rural development, microfinance and HIV/AIDS programmes.
• Familiarity with government health policies and programmes
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in small teams, and flexible ways of working
• Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, case study compilation.
• Field visit is required.
• Overall management capacity to monitor report and guide the team under him/her.
Salary- 21,000 with TA
2. Community Mobilizer - 1 post
Qualification and Skills:
• Minimum +2 pass or higher degree with minimum 2 years of related work experience in LGBT community.
• An understanding of the health and social issues that affect gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men.
•An ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds in a variety of settings in a respectful and empowering way.
• The ability to work as part of a team and in partnership with other organisations and individuals.
•Experience of working with LGBT in community settings.
• Interest in developing, implementing, and expanding the existing programme.
• A strong and full commitment to confidentiality.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.

3. Finance Staff - 1 post
Qualification and Skills:
•Commerce background, Bachelor or higher degree with minimum 3 years of related work experience preferably in NGO
• Experience of dealing with Office Administration (including office maintenance and upkeep), HR and Procurement processes.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to carry out tasks and responsibilities in an efficient and timely manner.
• Track record of being a team player, high integrity, ability to deal with multiple tasks, flexibility and timely completion of critical tasks
• Experience of working in an NGO or non-profit organization preferred
