Communication Specialist for Jal Jeevan Mission Project

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a communication strategy for fulfilment of

communication targets as per the guidelines;

• Develop and realise communication and PR products that communicate the

project’s objectives, narratives, progress and impacts and raise awareness;

• Edit, proof-read, and format project publications and phrase messages in a

way that is immediately understandable and appropriate to the intended target

groups;

• Support the implementation of activities and events;

• Effectively manage and lead all internal and external communication;

• Knowledge of digital policy landscapes;

• Experience in the development and implementation of communication strategies

and materials as well as in event management;

• Expertise in writing and editing brochures, leaflets, articles, and press

releases (evidenced e.g., by work samples);

• High affinity to new digital trends and their likely impact on policy,

economy, and society.

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to write concise and clear

texts topics;

• Knowledge of relevant design softwares.

Documentation and Presentation

• Maintain a record of key existing and potential stakeholders, clients,

partners in a cohesive manner;

• Design excellent slides, excel sheets and word documents to enable effective

presentation to key stakeholders;

• Ability to research and navigate through important information in very

limited time;

• Report writing, creating newsletters among other key information pieces;

• Build communication mechanisms which aid other verticals in the organization

and further its objectives;

• Strong passion for promoting awareness in diverse mass audiences;

• Compelling inclination for nature conservation.
