Job Description

Project Manager Roles & Responsibilities

Programme

Manager

(PM)

1. Scale up plan implemented as per the NACO guidelines by the NGO.

2. Ensuring NACP IV operational guidelines are being followed.

3. Ensures that the all staff recruitment is completed as per schedule.

4. Ensured that a monthly work plan in place with the proposed activities for implementation at the site level.

5. Ensures a network analysis for every site / hotspot for tracking the number HRGs

6. Ensures that all project based registers are available at the project office and updated periodically.

7. Develop a monthly monitoring visit plan to the sites / hotspots and share the same with the staff concerned during monthly meeting.

8. Ensure all the PEs and ORWs carry their daily dairy formats to the field with the requisite materials for distribution / demonstration. Post Graduate in social sciences Experience for PM (NGO TI): 2-3 years field experience in Health sector. Preferably in HIV /AIDS sector.

9. Ensure that IEC materials are available for distribution

10. Ensures that a micro plan at the outreach level is in place at every site / hotspot.

11. Ensure that a monthly field visit / movement plan is in place for project staff and implemented as per plan.

12. Ensures that there is no stock out of condoms, medicines in any given month.

13. Ensures that project clinics are functioning as per standards and NACP IV OG.

14. Ensures that all the field data are collected on weekly basis and entered into the computer.

15. Ensuring that monthly SIMS reports are submitted on time to SACS.

16. Ensures that review meetings are conducted as per schedule.

17. Ensuring submission of Statement of Expenditure (SOE) on time to SACS.

18. Ensure to analyze field data for tracking the performance of the project on monthly basis and share the same with SACS/TSU staff.

2) M & E Cum Assistant

1. Ensures to co-ordinate with outreach staff and manage information collected through site level data collection tools on weekly.

2. Ensure to do checks of the information collected from data collection tools being filled at the NGO / site level on weekly basis for its completeness and ensure the quality reporting in formats / tools in use as per the guidelines of NACO.

3. Ensure to travel to sites for supervision to Outreach workers / peer educators on-site support on the filling of information for ensuring of quality data collection and reporting wherever and whenever required.

4. Ensure to enter the information collected into computer and analyse the data on monthly basis.

5. Ensure to report on monthly basis through CMIS to SACS.

3) Counsellors Role

1. Ensures that the HRGs visiting the project clinics are counselled.

2 Ensures that there HRGs visiting the clinics also visits the referrals centres (ICTC)

3 Ensures to keep a track of HRGs who have been referred to referrals centers are visiting the centers.

4 Ensures to keep list of the HRGs who have been tested at the ICTC

5 Ensures all the relevant counseling registers are maintained on day to day basis and in safe custody.

6 Ensures to visit the field (at the hotspot level) for taking counselling sessions as per the plan.

4) ORW (Health Educators)

ORW (Health Educators) 1 Develops weekly plan for each PE under his/her supervision.

2 Ensures that a network analysis is in place and being implemented.

3 Ensures that a micro plan has been developed for each site and implemented.

4 Ensures that a weekly movement plan is developed and the same shared with program manager.

5 Ensures that each PE has allotted timings to be in the field for carrying out the project services.

6 Ensures to check the daily diaries of the PEs at the field level and provide supportive supervision.

7 Ensures that all the new HRGs are registered and requisite forms are filled in.

8 Ensures that each PL has sufficient IEC / BCC material available.

9 Ensures to give feedback on the performance of each PE under supervision on the observation made and share the same during weekly meeting

10 Ensures to maintain a diary and shares the activities conducted and issues resolved at the field level with the program manager during weekly meeting.

11 Ensure to compile weekly outreach data and shares the compiled data with the program manager

12 Conducts group meetings at site level

13 Assist the program manager in organizing the events.

14 Assist the program manager in conducting advocacy meetings / workshop as per plan. Graduate are Preferred. Willing to work with HRGs in the field at odd times. Commitment and dedication and to take challenges.


HRGs who have shown commitment and performance as peers are also eligible to be promoted to ORWs.
