Job Description

1.Creation of awareness among the homeless persons to take the shelter in the Urban Homeless Shelter 2.To disseminate information on Homeless Shelter through appropriate means understandable to all sections of the City/slum dwellers/Urban Homeless highlighting the Locality/ address of the Shelter for urban Homeless in local Hindi language 3.To promote involvement of citizen's forums, area Sabha, and institutionalization of process for community engagement. 4.To Mobilise the homeless persons day & night as it is required 5.Identification & gather information about the homeless persons in the city 6.Regularly conduct meetings at slum/Sahi/Gali/ Bus stand/Railway Station & other places in AMC area/Agra City as and when required 7.Will keep coordinate with the Shelter Coordinator/ Manager and rescue the Homeless persons in the specified Area.

Eligibility Criteria

Master's Degree in Social work, public health, environmental/social science/P G Diploma in Urban Development /Rural management and/or equivalent discipline with special knowledge and experience in urban development, urban issues, water, sanitation and hygiene at the local and national level with at least 3 years' experience.

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - Post Graduate-Other

1.Master's Degree in Social work, public health, environmental/social science/P G Diploma in Urban Development /Rural management and/or equivalent discipline with special knowledge and experience in urban development, urban issues, water, sanitation and hygiene at the local and national level with at least 3 years' experience 2.Good knowledge and experience of participatory approaches in programme/project development 3.and implementation. 4.At least 3 years’ experience in Social mobilization/ networking/ community participation in Govt project/or equivalent project in INGO/National/State level NGO sector. 5.Excellent interpersonal verbal and written skills including presentation skills Understanding of 6.project planning and implementation. 7.Computer proficiency in MS Office & Internet browsing
