About SKHM:

Founded in 2009, SKHM operates in two red light areas, Bowbazar and Sonagacchi, focusing on children, youth, women, and men within these communities. Our mission is to eradicate second-generation prostitution by providing alternative livelihood opportunities, empowering individuals to lead dignified lives.

Programs at SKHM:

SKHM runs four impactful programs - Pampers (3-6 years), Nurture (7-18 years), Breakthrough (18-21 years), and Dignity (22-65+ years). These programs cover education, nutrition, mental health, and livelihood, enabling community members to choose alternative paths for a better future.

Position Overview:

In the role of a Liaison Officer for Government and Non-Government Initiatives, you will play a vital role within our team by facilitating support to identify various schemes and entitlements that empower community women and men towards income generation or a more sustainable lifestyle. Your responsibilities will involve discovering, visiting, and fostering relationships with various government departments and non-governmental entities to connect community members with resources tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum graduation degree in any stream.

Minimum 5 years of experience in establishing liaison with different government department for marginalized communities.
