Your job would include conducting outreach and animal welfare awareness programs for school children. In the process you would be influencing the way children think about animals and the way they care for the environment in which these animals live. This would be done through storytelling, presentations, conducting working sheet activities, games and craft activities.
Your success will expand STRAW India’s outreach in schools across India. To be seriously considered for this role, the most important criterion is that you should have a liking to work with children, a keen fondness for animals and an appreciation to care for the environment
Qualification: bachelor’s degree in any subject, preferably social work; fluency in English and the local language. Fondness for animals is a MUST.
Experience: Six months of experience in a similar role in an NGO imparting education to school students. Those who have experience working / volunteering in an animal welfare organization would be given preference.
