Inviting application for the post of 01 “Technical Expert" GF C19 RM (KP Grant) Project.

Brief Project Description:

The Network of Transgender Persons is implementing the GF C19 RM (KP Grant) Project in the capacity of Sub-Recipient (SR) under the Plan India Principal Recipient (PR), to strengthen the advocacy, capacity building, empowerment, and organizational development of trans-led organizations across the country. This project will be strengthening the capacity of 20 trans-led organizations across India and working towards minimising the national policy gaps.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan the initial implementation strategies with the Project Director at the beginning of the project to have a specific mapping of the CBOs.

• Coordinate and organize all National and State level activities including regular meetings with Govt. officials and GFATM superiors and establish a cordial relationship.

• Guide the M&E and Advocacy officer during the initial phases of the rollout of the project and later provide supportive supervision.

• Ensures regular updates to M&E and Advocacy officer on resource availability at National level for smooth implementation of activities and timely action

• Support in the development of capacity-building plans for needs identified CBO’s

• Collecting and analyzing the project-relevant data to support decision-making and program implementation.

• Developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans for NTP’s project- CR19 grant.

• Developing and implementing capacity building programs and training materials for community-based organizations.

• Support the compilation of information about project, including activity reports, quarterly and annual reports and review and re-planning of reports.

• Contribute to the implementation of effective monitoring, review and evaluation strategies and activities for programmes against agreed project deliverables.

• Accompany at-least 40% CBOs visit during initial months of implementation.

• Maintaining the records and documentation of monitoring and evaluation activities.

• Support, review and adopt corrective measures with justified documentation in – recording and reporting of the details of CBO for assessment.

• Establish linkages with public health centres and other services centres for hassle free services providing to Transgenders.

• Preparing and submitting timely reports on monitoring and evaluation activities as required.

• Periodic site visits for monitoring of project records at all the projected CBO’s

Qualification & Experience:

• Master in Bachelor Degree (Any) with at least 3-4 years of experience in the development sector

• At least 3 years' relevant experience in an NGO or health sector. The criteria for selection will be relaxed for members from Key population group with relevant experience and calibre and final decision lies with the interview panel

• Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other accounting tools.

• Demonstrated experience of onward granting in the non-profit sector

• Strong analytical skills, and the ability to synthesise complex concepts and to communicate them effectively

• Experience managing Team, report writing operations and reporting functions.

• Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

• Ability and willingness to undertake extensive travel; primarily within the State/s

• Fluent in English and Hindi (other local language)
