Responsibilities of Accounts Assistant:
1. Processing transactions, invoices, bank statements and reimbursement forms.
2. Maintaining electronic and paper records and ledgers.
3. Preparing and updating reports and budgets.
4. Assisting with audits and payroll processes.
5. Resolving accounting discrepancies.
6. Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
7. Recording and filing cash transactions
8. Controlling credit and chasing debt
9. Invoice processing and filing.
10. Ensuring statutory compliances are met.
11. Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Commerce.
? Proven experience of at least 1 year working as a trainee accounts or in a similar role. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience of working in an NGO.
? Proficiency in MS-Office.
? Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
? Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Remuneration: 25K pm
