About Bal Ashram:

Bal Ashram is a kind of long-term rehabilitation center for children rescued from child labour. Trafficking, abuse and exploitation. It was established in the year 1998 at Virat Nagar, Jaipur, and Rajasthan as a rehabilitation center for children rescued from child labour, child slavery and child trafficking.

Position Overview:

As the Incharge at the Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from various physical or mental health conditions. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to manage staff, implement effective programs, and maintain a supportive and therapeutic environment. You will work closely with the SMGC Program team both at the central and state level. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage a team of associates, teachers and skill trainers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handling Management of Bal Ashram:

• Ensure all responsibilities of the person-in-charge of the Child Care Institution.

• Manage all staff duties at Bal Ashram.

• Create an action plan and provide weekly report to Director Program- SMGC

• Implement and ensure meeting of all operational targets

• Support program team with program driven targets and activities

• Ensure the rehabilitation center meets all regulatory standards and follows safety protocols.

• In parallel with Administration team, manage the allocation of resources, including equipment, facilities, and staff, to optimize efficiency.

2. Project Management:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of all programs and projects.

• Work closely with Manager, Finance to update financial monitoring and documentation

• Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively.

• Lead all fundraising efforts at the local level

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain relationships through strong liaisoning with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and communities.

• Collaborate with community members and local administration to enhance the impact and outreach of our programs.

• Represent the organization in various forums and events at the Local and state level

4. Financial Management:

• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.

• Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for cost optimization.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and donor requirements.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, international development, public policy).

• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in program management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Excellent project management and leadership skills with a track record of successful project delivery.

• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and advocacy.

• Strong financial management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
