Job Description

 Provide programmatic and administrative support to the program officer to ensure timely conduction of meetings for the District and State Working Groups and with other stakeholders, as per the project work plan.  Have a working relationship with the State and District Program Management Units in ensuring quality standards are maintained and improved at the facility level.  Undertake supportive supervision visits at focus facilities to provide program support, field calls and facilitate communication between central project staff and field staff for timely completion of project activities while ensuring program quality.  Work closely with the Community Participation cell at the district and the state to ensure community linkages for family planning services  Prepare needed training models, conduct trainings and provide regular mentoring support to the ASHA (VHC-Sahiyya) support system at the state and district for ensuring community linkages for FP services  Undertak

Eligibility Criteria

 A university graduate, preferably Bachelor’s degree in Administration and/or Social Sciences.  Degree/ Diploma/ distance learning certificate in computers with excellent competency (Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook).  3-5 years relevant work experience in office management and/or project support.  Experience in working with projects and knowledge of health and training issues desired.  Familiarity with the Indian health system, key stakeholders and relevant government policies/ strategies particularly National Health Mission, Reproductive Child Health II and Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child Health + Adolescent (RMNCH+A).

Graduation - Diploma

 Demonstrated ability to multitask.  Attention to detail.  Ability to produce documents of professional quality and coordinate activities independently.  Comfortable with working in a multicultural team.  Able to manage/ prioritize work from several sources. Ability to handle pressure of deadlines.  Excellent organizational and logistics management skills.  Ability to develop productive working relationships with other agencies, stakeholders and other organizations.  Fluency in spoken English, Hindi and local language.  Good written communication skills.  Willingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks.  Ability to travel for up to 50-60% of her/his time.
