Job Description

Location: Bal Sahyog

Timings: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Report to: Home Superintendent

Salary: As per minimum wage act - Delhi.


Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Should be well aware about “Child Rights” and ensure their incorporation in functioning of the institution.

2. Work with the Staff to support the child in a manner that helps in realizing his full potential.

3. Maintain regular records of the residential children as may be decided in consultation with the House Parent and Superintendent.

4. Maintain contact with the family of the child as well as facilitate Home and school partnership towards holistic development of children.

5. Provide counseling to the children and their families as required at the Bal Sahyog Children’s home.

6. Organize regular counseling session for creativity among children, support health checkups activities and camps and other educational initiatives etc.

7. Support the Staff to constantly improve the quality of services provided in Shelter Home.

8. Overall responsibility to make Bal Sahyog as institute of excellence for children and child rights.

9. Interaction and counseling on education, life skill development, and creativity etc. with children in Bal Sahyog Children’s Home.

10. Liaison with the Child Welfare Committee, maintain history and develop individual plan for the growth and development of all children.
