Job Description

1. Enable effective public interface for the event through website, social media and other means 2. Write and design content for website, mailers, crowd funding campaign, newsletters, press releases, letters, posters and other promotional materials 3. Initiate and maintain social media campaigns on Facebook, Watsapp, Twitter etc 4. Capture and broadcast NGO news and events on website, social media and other relevant media in writing, photos and videos 5. Liaison with press and other public relations stakeholders  6. Provide timely response to queries on social media and other interfaces  7. Scout for service providers like graphic designers, film-makers, web designers, PR facilitators, photographers, videographers, invite proposals, review and shortlist proposals 8. Coordinate the film-making process for crowd-funding film and other short films. Assist & review work of film-makers in developing suitable script, recci, drawing up filming schedule, review & feedback on

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduation in Mass Communication or relevant field • At least one year of experience in communications, media, public relations or relevant field • Past experience in social and environmental issues is strongly preferred

• Excellence in writing and designing appropriate content for various media – press, website, social media and short films • Proficiency in English speaking, writing and editing is mandatory. Skills in Hindi and Telugu will be added advantage.  • Keen observation and creativity in capturing suitable content regularly from the field / project areas for use in various communications and documentation • Photography, audio-video recording and editing skills will be strongly preferred • Ability to conduct presentations and other verbal communications effectively • Commitment towards ecological conservation and social justice  • Familiarity with or past experience in the ecological farming and social sector will be preferred  • Interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders • Ability to work in a team and coordinate with service providers and volunteers  • Ability to take self-initiative, to be organized, to ensure that tasks are comp
