Job Description:

District Project Manager - Graduate in any discipline (Preferably sociology, social science or B.Tech) minimum four years (4 years.) of experience in community development activities especially in participatory Approaches to community Mobilization in Rural area. (Candidate from Local Block and Bike/Scooty holder will be preferable). The key responsibilities will include the following:

1. Directly supervise the implementation of the project in the block assigned including Block Project Manager and Community Mobilizer in the block.

2. Carry out regular orientation of the Block level team of Panchayat Facilitators on the key actions to be taken under the project and delivery of technical knowledge regarding actions on community awareness regarding WASH.

3. Establish strong relations with the Block level and Panchayat level functionaries to work in close coordination for strengthening the delivery of safe drinking water services to the community.

4. Undertake regular Supportive Supervision visits to the communities in the assigned Panchayats and contribute for the demand generation of the services.

5. Undertake all the programmatic and technical support activities as envisaged and guided by PHED.

6. Prepare regular analytical status and progress reports sourcing relevant data from the government and as well as from the community through the Block Community Mobilizer on a need basis.

7. Liaison with government officials on program planning and activity implementation.

8. Work closely with the PHE Department and administration to contribute towards community engagement initiatives like Supportive Supervision, Home Visits, and Community Based Monitoring etc.

9. Undertake regular and extensive travel within the block for effective supervision and implementation of the project.

Block Project Manager cum IEC Expert- Graduate in any discipline (Preferably sociology or social science) minimum Two years (2 years.) of experience in community development activities especially in participatory Approaches to community Mobilization in Rural area. (Candidate from Local Block and Bike/Scooty holder will be preferable)

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with the individual's credentials, experience, and previous pay scale.
