Nightingales Medical Trust (NMT) is a not for profit, Bangalore based organisation working for the cause of the elderly and those with dementia for nearly 25 years. The Trust caters to all socio–economic sections of society and has established various innovative and need based projects, focusing on dementia care, active ageing, elder abuse, social integration, economic empowerment and awareness and advocacy. As one of the projects, NMT is also running National Helpline for Senior Citizens (Elderline) for the state of Karnataka (Call No. 14567) to help elders in distress. The project is funded by Government of India through National Institute of Social Defense.
NMT invites applications from dynamic and result oriented individuals with a sense of commitment and passion to work as Project Manager at Elderline Karnataka.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: 50,000 to 60,000. Negotiable based on skills and experience
Requirements:
? Post Graduate in Social Work or Counselling.
? At least 10 years of experience in handling projects involving linkages with NGOs, National/State/local organizations working with elderly focused programs. Experience with training, capacity building, reporting and documentation is desirable.
? Out of above, minimum 3 years of experience should be in project management.
? Fluency in English, Kannada and Hindi with excellent verbal and written communication.
Roles & Responsibilities:
I. Overall responsibility of service delivery, reports, dashboards and People management with respect to Elderline for the state of Karnataka, having a connect center with 10 seated call officers and Field Response Lead.
II. Assume line management of Field, connect center, Communication, IT, Human Resource & Finance.
III. Team management, building synergies and talents across teams and individuals to ensure high quality achievements & results.
IV. Working closely with state level government officials, allied departments, State level senior Citizens Welfare Committee and the Management & executive teams.
V. Taking effective measures in popularizing the Helpline and its services & toll free number.
VI. Ensure monitoring performance by getting daily, monthly work done reports by utilizing dash board tools etc.
VII. Make significant contribution to the quality and quantity of institutional partnerships and partnerships with government.
VIII. Identifying the problems in the implementation of the program and addressing them.
