Responsibilities:
1. Program Development and Management:
- Design and develop innovative programs that promote the well-being, education, and development of children in the rural community.
- Collaborate with team members and community stakeholders to create program goals, objectives, and strategies that align with the organization's mission.
- Develop program budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
2. Case Management:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs, strengths, and challenges to develop individualised case plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of children, adjusting case plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
- Coordinate and collaborate with service providers, educators, counselors, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective interventions for children's growth and success.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate strong relationships with children, families, caregivers, and community partners to build trust and rapport.
- Collaborate with local schools, government agencies, and nonprofits to enhance the reach and impact of the organization's programs.
- Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and forums to promote awareness and advocacy for child well-being.
4. Team Leadership:
- Provide guidance, support, and supervision to program staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality services to children and families.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that values open communication and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss program updates, challenges, and best practices.
5. Data Collection and Reporting:
- Develop and implement data collection methods to track program outcomes and measure impact on children's development.
- Compile and analyze program data to prepare accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize data insights to drive program improvements and demonstrate the organization's effectiveness.
6. Resource Coordination:
- Identify and secure resources, grants, and funding opportunities to support program initiatives.
- Connect families and children with available resources, services, and support networks within the community.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, education, child development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management and case management, preferably in child-serving organizations.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, family systems, JJ Act, Mission Vatsalya, and rural community dynamics.
- Proven leadership skills, including team management and effective communication.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Familiar with MS Office Package.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work sensitively and effectively with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, policies, and best practices in child welfare.
- Available for Travel to Various Locations for Work-Related Purposes.
