Compensation 3 to 4.8  lakh per annum; commensurate with experience. 


Spend at least 25% time in schools/classrooms + at least 25% time with teachers


  • Draw insights from program activities and support in org development
  • Manage all program operations in your area
  • Ensure M&E activities, reflection, reporting and documentation
  • Accounting, admin and other logistics
  • Organise training logistics for in-person sessions
  • Capture teacher experiences/stories; ensure program communication
  • Build alumni engagement and in-service teacher engagement programs
  • TLC program
  • Monitor program operations (including inventory management)
  • Oversee implementation of capacity building activities
  • Neev program
  • Support in creating recruitment pitch videos and presentations
  • Conduct teacher recruitment sessions 
  • Organise teacher selection day, conduct teacher interviews
  • Support City Associates 
  • Support in coaching teachers (TLC and Neenv)
  • Ensure an active WhatsApp teacher community
  • Support in building parent engagement plans
  • Coaching on cultivating stakeholder relationships
  • Support teachers (TLC and Neenv)
  • Support with troubleshooting (classroom, admin)
  • Observe classroom and give specific feedback if required
  • Organise exposure trips and expert sessions
  • Address any violations of child protection policy
  • Build stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure regular communication with government stakeholders (DIET, DEO office, HMs, PEEOs) 
  • Build sustainable relationship with school staff wherever Ashvattha is operating
  • Cultivate a supportive partner network of other not-for-profits, individual experts and schools as required
  • Support design team
  • Support in teacher training sessions (in person, virtual)
  • Support in creating digital training content 
  • Support in lesson planning sessions

Eligibility Criteria

Experience of managing projects required

  • Educational Leadership:
  • Understanding of educational principles and best practices
  • Experienced in lesson planning and implementation (pref primary grades)
  • Enthusiastic about experimentation in teacher training/coaching
  • Teaching experience in government schools a plus
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
  • Critical thinking skills to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to make informed decisions in a timely manner
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Strong community relations skills to engage with parents, community leaders, and local organisations
  • Ability to build partnerships that benefit the education system
  • Data Analysis and Evaluation:
  • Proficiency in data analysis to assess educational outcomes and inform decision-making
  • Ability to use data for continuous improvement in educational programs
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including educators, parents, students, and community members
  • Technology Literacy:
  • Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the learning environment
  • Ability to leverage technology for administrative tasks and educational improvements

  • About Organization:We believe that, in the living-breathing forests of society, teachers are trees that bear the fruits of learning. Teachers need strong roots, i.e. knowledge, skills, and attitudes. We are building a movement of 21st century teacher leaders who implement NEP and NCF in government schools. We have prepared 30 teacher fellows across multiple programs and have an experience of training 600+ in-service and 2000 pre-service teachers in the last three years. We currently work across 10 government schools in Alwar and Jaipur. In addition to ???? teacher fellowship, we also run model teacher learning centers where Ashvattha teachers establish library and computer labs to build subject and 21st century skills amongst primary grade students. Run by alumni from Harvard, IIT Delhi, and DU, we are are an initiative of RDNC Mittal Foundation (Alwar, Rajasthan), recipient of multiple accolades from the district and state government. We have been funded by CIIE.CO (IIM Ahmedabad), and DST.
