Nirantar Trust is looking for a Communication and Documentation Associate. As a vital member of the Communication and Publication team at Nirantar, you will be entrusted with the crucial responsibility of managing Nirantar’s social media handles, online run campaigns, documentation and report writing for a diverse range of stakeholders. Your role will encompass developing, writing, and editing various publications, newsletters, website and social media content, ensuring adherence to Nirantar's in-house style guidelines, and producing publication-ready documents, reports, proposals, and concept notes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit publications, newsletters, website content and social media posts.

• Oversee Nirantar's website and social media handles to ensure regular updates and engaging content.

• Create and curate content to maintain a dynamic online presence.

• Write concept notes, research notes, proposals, and reports as per project and organizational requirements.

• Produce quarterly and annual reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards

• Write training reports and convert them into disseminable materials for wider audiences.

• Utilize various mediums to disseminate training materials effectively.

• Organize events and activities to support dissemination and networking efforts.

• Represent Nirantar at internal and external events, making presentations as required.

• Develop concept and explanatory notes for proposals and training purposes.

• Willingness to travel for workshops and field visits as part of project requirements.

• Flexibility to assist with other ongoing projects within Nirantar as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Development Studies, or a related field.

• Proven 1 -2 years of experience in social media management, preferably with digital media platforms

• Should have the ability to run online campaigns

• Ability for documentation, report writing, and content development.

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Hindi.

• Should possess image and video editing skills, prior experience with producing reels, preferred.

• Must exhibit proficiency in using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and mobile-based video editing apps.

• Should be familiar with using Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Familiarity with gender and sexuality issues is preferred.

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
