Job Description

Position: Media Manager, Delhi


The Media Manager should be able to work with the team in developing and implementing media strategies, building and maintaining relationships with the journalists and influencers, writing and managing press releases, media inquiries, and interviews, creating content, including articles, blog posts, graphics, managing and growing the coalition’s presence on social media platforms, supporting advocacy efforts by creating media campaigns that highlight the issues etc.


Professional Competencies and Personal Attributes:


A post-graduate degree in mass communication or journalism or public relations.

Should have the ability to work in a small team, and incorporate flexible ways of working.

Should have relevant and practical experience of working on public health and women and child rights issues.

Should have strong writing and analytical skills.

Should have good communication skill both in Hindi and English languages.

Should be able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment, which includes weekly team calls, regular and time-sensitive updates and coordination at multiple levels.

Willingness to travel is required.


Experience: Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in the development sector.


Salary: As per experience
