Job Description

o Supporting the Project Medical Officer in identifying the target SAM children from the finalized blocks/ clusters.

o Helping Medical Officer to prepare the monthly visit plan of SAM children and referral cases as per the format of the project in coordination with the dietitian.

o Helping in Monitoring of the SAM children as per the schedule for medical parameters.

o Counseling of the parents of the SAM children for best practices and other aspects for effective child care.

o To assist medical officer in Prescribing the required medicines to the SAM child and ensuring the consumption of the same on regular basis.

o To assist in identifying the referral cases and carrying out orientation meeting with their parents for treatment under existing schemes.

o Providing the list of medicines to the pharmacist timely for procurement.

o Carrying out awareness camps/ campaigns/ personal hygiene drives on the field as and when planned.
