Job Description

• Support operational/implementation research activities - developing protocols, coordinating field data collection for testing hypotheses and documenting results

• Support the programs for accurate and timely data collection, collation and analysis pertaining to industry research

• Assist the team in data analysis for timely decision making as well as evidence generation

• Undertake regular visits to the field to coordinate participatory research and to identify where adaptations might be needed.

• Assist in conducting worker education programmes

Skill Requirement

• Dynamic and committed young person interested in Field research on workers with a keen understanding of gender, caste and religious diversity.

• Basic knowledge of labour rights in India and international standards

• Strong documentation skills, fluency in Hindi and English, knowledge of any regional language will be an advantage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet are essential.

• Willingness to multitask, work and travel flexibly and ability to deliver on time.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as with a team

Qualification

Post-graduate degree in social sciences preferably with specialization in Labour studies

Experience

At least two years of experience in supporting implementation of research protocols and conducting surveys and data collection in the social sector, especially among working people.

Rs. 30,000
