Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support program team in implementation program deliverables on the areas of Child Protection

• Support team in planning, coordinating, and tracking progress against agreed indicators.

• Supervise and provide support to Community Mobilizers in delivering their assigned deliverables.

• Build capacities of Community Mobilizers on the required areas.

• Support in networking with relevant government bodies and local organizations, Youth Clubs, community leaders, gender inclusive learning spaces, community-based forums, etc.

• Ensure quality documentation and reporting of the project activities and outcomes.

• Support families to promote their children’s well-being within safe environments

• Educate communities about children’s need for protection

• Empower children to understand and embrace their rights to protection

• Collaborate with like-minded stakeholders to establish robust child protection systems

• Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• 3 years sectorial experience

• Good English & Hindi oral and written communication skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Experience in community facilitation and mobilization

• Excellent technical understanding of child protection and community based approaches.

• Good computer knowledge and skills.

• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team

Remuneration: Negotiable as per experience & qualification.

• About Organization:Parivar Vikas came into existence in the year 1988 under the leadership of a social activist Mr. Bhawanand and few other likeminded people of the locality to serve the poor and needy people for their integrated development by translating the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi, Sri Jay Prakash Narayan and Binovaji in action. A rural working office of the organization started in village Chandrashekhar Nagar, near Guguldih of Barhat Block of Jamui district in the same year to work for the rural people. The organization ‘PARIVAR VIKASH’ has been registered under society registration act on 2nd December 1988. From onward the organization started its journey of development and serving the poor people of its surrounding villages. There is a history of establishment of the organization in Chandrashekhar Nagar. During the period of 1988 Chandrashekhar Nagar and its surrounding villages were mere barren pieces of land without any facilities where people can’t imagine living and settling in the area. I
