Job title: Project Coordinator- WADI project

Job Type: Full time


Organization: SAHABHAGI VIKASH ABHIYAN (SVA)


Key Responsibilities:


- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project starting from inception to completion.

- Work closely with the community, and establish and maintain networks with community organizations, local government agencies and relevant stakeholders.

- Manage project resources, including budget, personnel, equipment and materials.

- Monitoring and Evaluation


Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Agriculture, Agri-Tech, Social Work, Community development, Rural development, or a related field

- Proven experience in community engagement and mobilization

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of local cultures and dynamics

- Ability to work independently and as part of the team

- Proficient in English and Odia language


This position is an immediate requirement. The renumeration for this position is 25000 INR per month and will be based at Surada block of Ganjam district.

  • About Organization:Sahabhagi Vikash Abhiyan (SVA) which literally means Campaign for Participatory Development, started as a collective of several Individuals and Community Based Organizations(CBO) in the year 1993-94 to take up various development activities for upliftment of the down trodden and for the overall development of the local Communities. The members of SVA and its associated CBOs are mostly Small and Marginal Farmers, Tribals, Dalits and Agricultural Workers of Odisha.
