World Comics India promotes the use of grassroots comics globally through the world comics network. WCI has conducted more than 800 comics workshops globally and helped over 20,000 common people to express themselves using simple comics format. A number of comic campaigns have been organised to address several social issues in the most creative and participatory manner. WCI is now actively working in the field of environment, digital safety, Tribal rights, health, development and communication, etc.
Project Officer- Communication: WCI is looking for a Project Officer- Communication for its Delhi office.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide support on timely and quality execution of workshops, exhibition and other similar activities.
2. Conduct meetings/learnings /dissemination workshops and share learnings with partners and funding organizations
3. Provide support in designing communication strategies/materials as per the program's needs. Incorporate feedback and insights from the stakeholders to refine communication strategies and materials.
4. Provide timely updates and information to stakeholders regarding project progress.
5. Prepare engaging content for social media, blogs and websites
6. Provide support in developing project quarterly, annual, and closeout reports and presentations
Qualification and experience:
1. Master’s degree in mass communication, development communication, journalism, social work or related field
2. 3-5 years of relevant experience
3. Strong written and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
4. Experience with educational and community development programs
5. Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
Remuneration:
As per experience and qualification.
