About the Role:
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer for the MPSAC TI Project focusing on Female Sex Workers (FSW) plays a critical role in ensuring the effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of project activities and outcomes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting within the context of HIV/AIDS prevention programs targeting FSW communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring Plan Development: Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop a comprehensive M&E plan aligned with project objectives, indicators, and targets.
Data Collection: Oversee the collection of high-quality data through various methods, including surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, and routine program monitoring activities.
Data Management: Establish and maintain data management systems to organize, store, and analyze project data efficiently. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality throughout the data lifecycle.
Data Analysis: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to project performance, outcomes, and impact on FSW communities.
Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, donor reports, and other documentation to communicate project achievements, challenges, and lessons learned to internal and external stakeholders.
Evaluation: Design and conduct project evaluations, including baseline studies, mid-term reviews, and end-of-project assessments, to assess program effectiveness and inform strategic decision-making.
Capacity Building: Provide training and technical assistance to project staff and partners on M&E methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance their capacity in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and validity of M&E data through regular data quality assessments, validation checks, and verification processes.
Learning and Adaptation: Facilitate learning forums and reflection sessions to promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and adaptive management within the project team and partner organizations.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with program managers, technical experts, and implementing partners to integrate M&E findings into program planning, implementation, and decision-making processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s in Commerce in Qualification
• At least 1 of experience working in accounting
• Computer Skills
Salary – 16000/- + 600 travel allowance
