Darjeeling Mary Ward Social Centre (DMWSC) is the development wings of the Loreto Sisters working towards the upliftment of unprivileged communities of tea gardens areas under Darjeeling & Jalpaiguri district, with a special focus on women, children,Youths, Adolescents & whole community.

Job Description:

Designation: Animator

Reporting: Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

1.Planning and implementation of the field level activities with all the Field associates.

2.Mobilize and sensitize the community

3.Help the Field associates in organizing events

4.Monitoring the field associates in the field (every field is to be visited in a week)

5.Strong networking and Liaoning with different NGOs, stakeholders as is necessary at the Block level/G.P Level/Police Station/Schools etc

6.Documentation

7.Other assignment as and when required by the organization

Tasks:

1.Preparing work plans for the field associates

2.Compiling the daily report of the field associates to generate a monthly report and submit to the project coordinator

3.Compiling all the case history every month submitted by the field associates

4.Submit her daily report to the project coordinator every month

5.Conduct training's as and when necessary at the Block level

Work experience/Qualification

1.Should possess a Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Social Sciences)

2.Must have proficiency in the local language and dialects

3.The individual must have sensitivity of working with the marginalized group and high-risk groups, hands on experience of working on social mobilization and community-based projects and experience of working with varied partners.

Job Location: Preferably from Bagdogra or surrounding areas Looking after 3 areas Kamalpur Tea Estate, Trihana Tea Estate & O.R.D Tea Estate

Salary Rs 7000/- per month plus Mobile recharge and Travelling Allowance as per actual field Mobility.
