Job Description

Programme Overview:

Odisha is an agrarian state with 70 per cent of the state’s population depending on agriculture and alliedsectors .the project facilitates the promotion of producer groups and producer companies for sustanibility by ensuring synchronized production,linkages with stakeholder to optimise production and acess different livelihood support infrastructure and increasing market linkages.


Location of project

The project will be implemented in Puintala block of Balangir district in Odisha


Projects Objectives are:

1. Mobilizing farmers in groups at the village level and build their associations (FPOs) at an

Appropriate federating point to plan and implement product specific cluster/ commercial

Crop cycles

2. Strengthen farmer capacity through agricultural best practices for enhanced productivity

by working with farmers on land water managements and energy integration.


Key Job Responsibilities:

.Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the field staff.

. Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor organization.

. Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting action plan and maintaining it.

Responsible for submitting activity reports meeting minuets and financial reports on regular to demand

. Oversee the preparation and submission of annual activity based on project budgets as well as monthly quarterly financial reports.

. Lead and motivate the project team and monitor project activities and project expenditure.

. Giving technical support to team members and trouble shoot the project problems

. Employ resourcefulness in project design, implementation and monitoring project problems.

. Analysis of team performance and managing team proactivity for continuous movement.

.Make effective decisions in running a project solely and help the team in enhancing team performance.

. Providing direction and is responsible for large scale development of the program at all stages.

. Oversee day to day operation including execution of project coordinating and reporting.

.Regular update and communication with donor organization/representative.

.Monitoring of project implementation and tracking the outputs of program and regular mentoring and handholding support to project team



Qualification:

YCDA is looking for a highly motivated, strategic, go-getter, and quality-conscious professional who have a Post Graduate (MSW, MA Sociology, MBA, other relevant stream) with 3 to 4 years proven experience of social work and 4-5 years’ experience as a Program Manager/Program Lead/Project Lead. Should have excellent understanding and knowledge of MS office as well as excellent communication skills.


Languages known:-The candidates should be fluent in Writing, Reading and speaking of Odia language and English language.

Remuneration: Remuneration will be based on work experience and previous salary history, comparable to sector standards.
