About Organisation:

YCDA is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 1993 and registered under Societies Registration Act and Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) in 1993 and 1997 respectively with an objective to bring some sustainable improvement in the socio-economic status of disadvantaged communities. The organization devotes its time, skill, knowledge, and commitment towards the development of oppressed masses in society with a group of experienced and trained social workers. The main thrust of the organization is to implement various community development programs focusing on Livelihood promotion, Skill & Entrepreneurship Development, and Child protection.

Programme Overview:

FFVDP- Family focused village development programs was initiated by Linsi Foundations. The Linsi foundations is a Swiss family foundations.The foundation provides support ,promotes and facilitates knowledge transfer and specializes in the strategic development of partners and joint programs as well as empowers disadvantaged people to improve their lives in a sustainable way. The program aims at the total development of the downtrodden families in target village areas and see the village is holistically developed one.

Project Location:

The project will be implemented in Boudh district of Odisha.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for training women and men who receives support for income generation activities in business plan development,feasibility ,study.

2. Responsible for organizing animal health management training's in FFVDP villages.

3. Responsible helping potential entrepreneurs to avail government schemes and programs.

4. Conducting financial literacy training in CBOs.

5. Responsible for helping families to get their livestock and crops insured.

6. Organising certificate/diploma program in para veterinary and helping those who successfully complete to do it as full time-job.

7. Ensures proper bookkeeping in CBOs.

8. Ensures monitoring and reviewing all the financial transactions within CBOs.

9. Ensures do a proper value chain and supply chain, market study and feasibility study before every income generation support.

Qualification:

YCDA is looking for a highly motivated, strategic, go-getter, and quality-conscious professional who have a professional degree in MBA,MSW or relevant stream with 3-5 years of experience in development sector specifically in livelihood sector .Should have leadership skills with knowledge of MS Office, should have excellent communication skills with report writing and documentation skills.

Candidates applying should have proficiency in reading, Writing and speaking of Odiya language.

Remuneration: Remuneration will be 35,000/- per month.

The major thrust of the organization is to implement various demonstration projects for its target group in the area for bring change in the situation and initiate actions to replicate the best practices in other areas.
