Job Description:
The Documentation specialist will play a vital role in organisation, working closely with various departments to manage its documents throughout the program. This will involve creating, revising, and storing documents and ensuring that all documents are organized and easily accessible. By generating actionable insights, this position facilitates agile adjustments in program delivery.
Reporting:
State Lead
Area of Responsibility:
-Work closely with the project team to support and streamline the project’s
documentation
-Coordinate with the state and district program teams and collect relevant
information for ensuring timely reporting including monthly, quarterly and
annual reports and any other donor requirement
-Coordinate with the state program teams and collect relevant information to
be documented as success stories and case studies
-50 Human interest stories shared with UNICEF.
-Coordinate and maintain the repository of all materials to enable cross
learning and sharing.
-Support in develop high visibility communication products such as audio-
visual films, short video commentaries for showcasing project’s work.
-Support in ideating and increasing the visibility of the project through
regular LinkedIn, twitter posts, twitter campaigns and other new high
visibility mediums.
-Explore and integrate new technologies and software to enhance story-telling
and reporting efficiency.
-Provide training to program staff on case story and reporting procedures.
-Document progress and achievements for dissemination with internal and
external stakeholders.
Abilities/Skills:
-Strong written and oral communication skills in English and a good knowledge
of Hindi.
-Strong editing skills and ability to tailor communication materials for
different audiences.
-Strong organizational skills to establish and maintain communications
knowledge bank.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate comfortably with
varied audiences.
-Excellent attention to detail.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
-Willingness to learn and adapt new things.
-Willingness to travel intermittently.
-High level of integrity.
-An interest in Education sector.
Qualifications and Skills
-Preferred is post-graduation in Journalism or Mass Communication or
graduation / post- graduation in any subject.
-Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in documentation and
communications, preferably in the not-for-profit sector in India especially
in education sector or with children.
-Advanced knowledge of grammar, usage, and editorial style and guidelines.
-High proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook),
especially working with styles and templates

Honorarium
The honorarium would be decided post reviewing the candidate’s experience and credentials. Yeh Ek Soch Foundation will arrange other field level expenses (travel, lodging boarding, etc.)
