Job Description

-  Support in preparation of data collection tools, translation and training of field

investigators.

- Oversee and review all aspects of fieldwork on a daily basis.

- Assist in hiring field staff.

- Supervise team supervisors and field workers on a daily basis.

- Prepare and establish timeframe for field work.

- Coordinate field work with local representatives/community members.

- Secure permission from local community leaders for data collection in selected

clusters with help from local government staff.

- Plan and implement the training of the field teams.

- Plan the logistics of field work collection.

- Resolve administrative issues relating to travel, accommodation, behaviours of field teams, security issues etc. through appropriate channels.

- Resolve questions from participants.

- Supervise data entry.

Eligibility Criteria

- Master’s degree in Population Studies/Demography/ Social Work/or any equivalent degree - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in conducting field research study

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - Post Graduate-Other

- Experience in managing large scale health surveys, public health research experience including research ethics.

- Experience in coordinating and supervising field work including prior experience of sampling, mapping, preparation of data collection tools, data collection, quality assurance, data entry and management.

- Excellent leadership and management skills

- Commitment to public health values specifically TB control

-Community centric attitude and skills, Commitment to quality work by self, by team

- Team management, partner management and relationship building skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Local language

- Experience in typing and translation skills in local language.

- Fluent in other regional languages (English, Kannada, Telegu, Tamil and Hindi).
