We work at the intersection of education, art and technology to raise mass awareness about sex trafficking and curb its rising figures, impacting vulnerable populations of women and adolescents.

Job Description:


We are currently seeking a Trainer for our flagship school program, Missing Awareness and Safety School program (MASSp). The program focuses on Child Safety and engages with adolescents to raise awareness on sex abuse and exploitation.


The program will be implemented for the students of Kolkata Government Schools. And, the trainers will be required to facilitate the classroom sessions.


About the opportunity: -

- The project will be implemented within a time period of 4 months

- Trainers will undergo a three-day training program before starting the implementation

- The program sessions are conducted for the students of classes VIII-XII

- Each MASSp session will be of 2-4 hours, as per the schools

- Number of MASSp sessions can vary from 1-4 sessions/day, as per the schools

- This is a paid opportunity



The profile entails:


- Reaching out to schools and seeking permissions i.e dates & timings

- Facilitate and conduct sessions with the students as per the permissions received

- Documentation & reporting of the program through images, testimonials & case studies from students and school authorities

- Maintenance of the logistics & resources during the project execution

- Regular communication & coordination with the coordinator/program heads

- Digitization & Storage of data received for analysis post program execution



Qualifications/Criteria -

- Only Freshers can apply, with minimum age of 20 years

- Only Kolkata-based candidates can apply

- Education qualification should be maximum: 12th pass out and pursuing Graduation

- Should have language proficiency in Bengali (Mandatory) and Hindi (Optional)

- Ability to facilitate classroom-sessions with students

- Ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders (School Authorities, Students, Coordinator & team) for program execution

  • About Organization:The Missing Public Art project started by photographer an installation artist Leena Kejriwal was a response to her deep sensitivity to the plight of the millions of girls lost into the dark world of sex trafficking and have since passionately pursued this as a subject of her artwork. So initial exhibitions and multi layered installations in gallery spaces, She realized she wanted to talk to the public outside the gallery through her work. Which led her to take the first step to create a strong public artwork that would transcend language barriers and talk to the masses. From this, emerged the Missing silhouette. The silhouette is the black form of a young carefree girl who personifies all the young girls lost into the black holes of sex trafficking.
