Job Description

• The communications coordinator will work closely with thematic managers and state coordinators in the programme and hold primary responsibility to develop communication strategy for this programme. 
• Develop relevant IEC [effective presentation of key findings of the researches, policy analysis briefs, awareness raising materials, human interest stories, significant change stories, factsheets, infographs, etc., through relevant media and network channels]. 
• Update website
• Responsible for developing and maintain contacts and relations including with media houses and journalists (print & electronic) and make them active partners of the programme to bring out the desired change among communities, CSOs, Government and private sector. 
• Support the programme team (thematic managers and state coordinators) in organizing state and district events and campaigns, workshop

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant should have master’s degree in Mass Communication and/or Journalism 2. The applicant should have at least 5-7 years of working experience in the field of communications in development sector. 3. The person should be self-starter and be willing to contribute to the programme’s objective
