Job Description

• Overall responsible for two select themes in the programme, such as – prevention of child marriage and child trafficking across AP & TS.
• Develop, coordinate and oversee the advocacy strategies relevant to the above two themes 
• Closely work with the state and district administration (AP & TS) to implement advocacy initiatives of the programme
• Generate advocacy material and advocacy tools of the project – concept notes, policy briefs, factsheets, presentations, training materials and other relevant documents on the select themes
• Work with the research team on compilation, consolidation and organization of evidences for advocacy on child protection issues
• Build networks and collaborations with various bodies including Government bodies, professional associations, people’s movements, institutions and individuals (subject experts on public p

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant should be a post graduate in a social work / rural development / management (persons with other educational qualifications but with relevant experience may also apply). 2. The applicant should have at least 10 years of working experience, of which at least 5 years of relevant experience in child protection is mandatory.

- The applicant should have sound knowledge and understanding of relevant acts, policies and programmes relevant to child marriage and child trafficking; experience in policy analysis and should a proven record of working with Government, CSOs and communities.
- A good understanding of research methodology and ability to guide external agencies to conduct quality researches on the select themes.
- The person should be self-starter and be willing to contribute to the programme’s objective
